Changes with Fishback Fotography...

Changes are happening with Fishback Fotography. Three months ago I had a HUGE SURPRISE, we found out we are expecting our fourth baby! After a lot of thinking and talking, Nathan and I felt my studio location was too much to handle with four children, so I will be re-locating out of my home. This also means most of my shoots will consist of VERY part time, outdoor locations, focusing back to weddings. So, PLEASE, don't be alarmed if you see a for sale sign in our window. I will keep my phone number and have it switched to our home office, along with my live website and email.
I have truly enjoyed the past year with actually gutting and remodeling a downtown building, meeting tons of wonderful customers and doing something I absolutely enjoy. Thank you so much for helping make Fishback Fotography a success. You'll see me out and about with my greatest hobby...my camera. Since I don't advertise with my kids and husband, here's some shots of our long family weekend in St. Louis. And, no, we didn't get stuck in the arch for three hours on Saturday, we went up Friday night:) Could you imagine my three kids stuck in that tiny "egg elevator" in the dark? OMG.

And I MUST add, for all of the current and past beautiful pregnant women out there...I WILL be doing a pregnancy session in December, its all set up with an awesome photographer, Lori Nordstrom out of Winterset. Maybe she'll let me post some on my blog when the time comes:) Until then, here's her site

Be sure to check out her blog. I LOVE her angel baby pictures too!

Now, off to St. Louis!

We stopped by the Hannibal Caves. Madison and RyLee with the alligator.

I love the next picture. When my brother and I were little, we had the same picture taken!

Our walk over to the Arch from our hotel. Love the posing, girls:)

Madison and RyLee with the mini elevator door to ride up in the Arch

RyLee couldn't wait to see the snakes at the St Louis Zoo....yuck.

The next two pictures make me laugh. This is what happens when your the photographer and out of 176 pictures, your in 5 of them. That includes the next two. This sweet southern mom was standing behind us with her family and I asked her to take a family picture of us all...

Oops, we have three kids, not two:) Lets try again.

That'll work, its out of focus, but atleast we're all in there.

Riding the zoo train... Keep ALL hands, feet and objects inside the train at ALL times. We learned that lesson the hard way. RyLee decided to dangle her feet over the edge and we LOST a flip flop behind the elephant section. We enjoyed another 1/2 an hour toot-tooting along looking for a pink shoe. Thank goodness Nathan is flexible and was able to pick it up when we spotted it:)

Ahhh, 6 hours of hot, walking zoo time. We're almost all still smiles for the last zoo picture.

That afternoon we went to Uncle Jay's and Aunt Delores' NEW house to stay and visit. We had alot of fun! I love big cities because they have TONS of food we don't have here. A quick Sunday morning trip to the Krispie Kreme Donut Shop for FRESH donuts! UMMMMM. The kids had to eat theirs outside to advoid a nasty mess.

Hey, there's mom! We went to Union Station for a Sunday morning stroll to see the sights. Nathan got this one in focus! YEAH!

There's Nathan and the kids with Uncle Jay.

Going back to Swansea on the Metro. Clay LOVES trains and this one was fast!

Clay enjoying his ride back

What did I say? YUMMY food. We had to make a stop before heading home!

24 Hours Later...after last storm pictures

24 Hours after my last pictures, my brother in law wanted me to put the girls back in the field to see how much the corn had changed. WOW! As in Madison's words, "It must have been magic, mom." I put a red arrow pointing to it. I had to stand on top of my tahoe to get this one.

I had to add this one too. I thought for sure this corn was going to be a complete loss, it was FLAT yesterday morning. Now its half way back up! Amazing!

Washington was hit hard by a major wind and hail storm. Here's some pictures to check out.

They were all beautiful and had great personalities. Our 2007 Washington County Fair Queen was crowned to Kayla Schantz, with Christine Kennedy crowned Washington County Fair Princess. Amanda Smith was Miss Congeniality...she's SO sweet, I was a co-leader for her 4H Club, Congrats! Enjoy some great shots. Check out the entire viewing of images at

Erin & Andrew's Beautiful Day

Okay, I HAVE to be honest. I HATE people who don't stay current on their blogs...and I have fallen into that catagory. So I apologize. This post is LONG over due, but Erin wanted to be the FIRST person to check out her wedding pictures. I hope they had a great time on their honeymoon!

Erin and Andrew were married on Erin's Aunt's Farm. From a steamy 93 the week before, who imaged needing sweaters at an outdoor wedding? Rain drops were dodged and it was a PERFECT setting for a special day. We had a great time... And the goats LOVED us!

And I got to listen to an ENTIRE GROUP of kids play Suzuki Violins...it was beautiful!
